Adele has warned fans about throwing things on stage after a spate of recent incidents involving other artists.
In the wake of the rising trend, the British singer joked she would “kill” anyone who tried to chuck something on stage during a recent Weekends with Adele show.
In a widely shared clip online, the 35-year-old told the crowd people have forgotten “show etiquette” while pacing the stage with a t-shirt gun, which is a regular feature at her Las Vegas residency.
She began: “Have you noticed how people are forgetting f***ing show etiquette at the moment, they’re just throwing s*** on stage. Have you seen that?”

“F****ng dare you,” she quipped. “Dare you to throw something at me.”
The Hello artist then jokingly shot a t-shirt into the audience and said people should “stop throwing things at the artist... when you can shoot things at the audience.”
Adele’s comments come amid a spate of fans throwing things on stage and at artists in recent weeks that have led to discussions on concert etiquette.
Recently, a fan threw their mother’s ashes on stage at a Pink concert at her second headline show at London’s BST Hyde Park. The night prior she had been gifted a wheel of cheese.
Then across the pond, Bebe Rexha was left with a black eye and several stitches after a man threw a mobile phone at her face during her performance The Rooftop at Pier 17 in New York.
In another incident, country singer Kelsea Ballerini also had to stop mid-performance after a concertgoer threw an unknown object at her face.
Meanwhile in June, Ava Max was slapped by a male fan who stormed the stage during a Los Angeles show, and Lil Nas X seemed amused when someone threw a sex toy onstage during his gig in Sweden on Saturday.
However, this isn’t a new phenomenon as Harry Styles fell victim to less than stellar concertgoer etiquette in 2022 when fans threw Skittles at him.
At the time, the sweet brand responded and said: “Didn’t think I needed to say this: Please don’t throw Skittles.”
