- Comedian Freddie Meredith has joined the cast of SNL UK as a new permanent addition for its second season.
- Meredith, who was recently nominated for Best Newcomer at the Edinburgh Fringe, described joining the series as a “no-brainer”.
- Season two premieres on Saturday 12 September with guest host Jeff Goldblum and musical guest CMAT.
- All 11 original ensemble cast members will return alongside Meredith for the new 12-episode series.
- The UK adaptation was renewed following a successful debut run earlier this year, which earned widespread acclaim across the comedy industry.
