Over the past few years, BRELAND has experienced a whirlwind of success in the country music scene. His debut album, 'Cross Country,' released in 2022, showcased a forward-looking approach to the genre that has resonated with audiences. As he toured extensively, won awards, and collaborated with industry heavyweights, BRELAND realized the need to pause, reflect, and explore his next steps.
Seeking inspiration and connection to his roots, BRELAND visited Selma, Alabama, a town with deep familial ties. The visit, prompted by his mother's previous trip, served as a catalyst for his latest EP, 'Project 2024.' Reflecting on Selma's struggles, including the aftermath of a recent tornado and lack of essential services, BRELAND felt a personal connection to the community and its challenges.
