Within five wins of securing a fourth consecutive Scottish Premiership title, Rodgers will be eager to take the next step in his side's quest for a domestic clean sweep.

St Mirren, though, have secured some notable scalps this season, having beat Rangers the last two times they've faced them in the league.

Celtic won 3-0 upon their last visit to Paisley all the way back in August last year. The travelling supporters would accept a similar result and performance this time around.

Here are the teams...

St Mirren XI: Hemming, Alebiosu, Taylor, O'Hara, Mandron, Gogoc, Boyd-Munce, Olusanya, Fraser, John, Philipps.

Subs: Urminsky, Bwomono, Kenny, Tanser, Smyth, Killie, Idowu, Scott, Oseni.

Celtic XI: Schmeichel, Johnston, Carter-Vickers, Trusty, Schlupp, McGregor, Engels, Hatate, Maeda, Idah.

Subs: Sinisalo, Taylor, Scales, Jota, Yang, McCowan, Kenny, Ralston, Bonnar.
