A 10-year-old with a serious heart condition had his wish come true to go and see Liverpool play a match, thanks to a charity. And Archie Purnell enjoyed it so much he decided to fundraise for other youngsters so they could see their dreams realised.
Archie, who was was born with multiple heart defects, including a rare condition where his heart is the “wrong way around”, went to Anfield last year to see Liverpool play Everton in a day out organised by UK charity Make A Wish.
Now he has held a fundraising day for the charity, making £4,000. Archie said he felt "really good" to have raised £4000. He said: "My goal was £1000, so I was very happy with how much I raised. I'm hoping to give wishes to four children."
