The AFL has issued an apology after a tribunal panel member's decision to disconnect from Zak Butters's umpire abuse hearing then continue listening while driving led to the charge being thrown out.
Port Adelaide have welcomed the AFL appeals board's findings but maintain the tribunal process needs to be reviewed.
