Chris Sutton has called for Celtic to bolster their squad.
This comes after the club's 3-0 first-leg win over LASK. Sutton believes the result should not mask areas that need addressing before the transfer window closes.
The former striker said in his Daily Record column, "Celtic’s work is not done, on or off the pitch."
Sutton acknowledged the club's summer spending but argued it has been offset by sales and departures. He said: "A lot has been made of them investing almost £30m in the team, but they have also brought in £35m in sales, and the sheer volume of departures will have brought down the wage bill."
He stressed the need for Celtic to aim beyond just reaching the Champions League phase and collecting financial rewards. Sutton said: "They can’t just get to the league phase and be happy to turn up, collect the cash and say thank you very much.

"They need to compete. To do so, O’Neill will need further additions."
Midfield is Sutton’s main concern following Arne Engels’ departure. He said: "I was impressed with Mika Baur the other night, but Arne Engels still has to be replaced as Celtic’s midfield is too lightweight.
"Good teams will cut through them so it’s an area that needs bolstering."
Sutton also pointed out the need for full-back cover, with Kieran Tierney requiring support on the left and the right-back position potentially needing addressing if Alistair Johnston faces another lengthy absence.
He said: "Celtic have got one foot in the Champions League but they are still very much a work in progress."
