Now, Sky Sports has reported that Celtic have tabled an offer to Feyenoord for Switzerland international Lotomba, who is entering the final year of his contract with the Eredivisie club.
The 27-year-old joined Feyenoord from Nice two years ago and could now be available as Celtic attempt to add further reinforcements before Thursday’s 5pm Scottish transfer deadline.
However, any player Celtic want to include in their Europa League squad would need to be signed before Wednesday night’s 11pm registration cut-off.
