Celtic are still spinning a number of plates ahead of the transfer window closing ad have now submitted a fresh offer for one of their targets, according to a report.
Torino midfielder Gvidas Gineitis has been high on the Parkhead wishlist all summer but the two clubs have been quite far apart on their valuations, with the Serie A outfit turning down an earlier offer.
Torino were believed to be hlding out for £9million while the offer was for £6.5m.
It was previously reported Celtic had not given up on their interest in the Lithuanian international but any move may have been affected by their failure to qualify for the Champions League and secure the riches on offer.

However, it is now being suggested they HAVE returned to test the Italians' resolve.
Italian journalist Matteo Moretto said: "Celtic have presented a new offer for Gvidas Gineitis of Torino."
The Scottish champions are close to the signing of another midfielder - attacking player Joel van den Berg from PSV, believed to be for around £3.4million.
However, with Paulo Bernardo and Arne Engels having departed and Reo Hatate expected to follow, there is room for more additions. Mika Baur is the only summer signing in that department.
Celtic are interested in Crystal Palace's former Kilmarnock and Airdrie player Justin Devenny, who can also play at left wing-back.
