A man is at large after scores of plaques were stolen from a cemetery, as investigators release a headshot of the alleged thief.

Jacob Rapana, 32, is wanted on warrants for allegedly stealing up to 160 brass plaques from a Cheltenham cemetery, in Melbourne's southeast.
