CHENNAI: Over a year after a court-appointed audit found that 32 metro stations constructed across the city are not disabled-friendly, the Chennai Metro Rail Limited (CMRL) has sought 6 more weeks to act on the audit report findings.
The defects would be rectified in all the stations that are currently under use. It will be ensured that all such norms are complied with in the newly constructed stations, counsel for CMRL said.
