New Delhi: Chief Justice NV Ramana on has recommended the name of Justice Uday Umesh Lalit as his successor.

CJI Ramana personally handed over a copy of his August 3 letter of recommendation to the Minister for Law and Justice to Justice Lalit earlier on Thursday.
