REVEALED: Cotton falling back on monday | Rare Historical Photos

Cotton futures are trading with losses of 98 to 109 points across the front months on Monday’s midday. Crude oil is up $1.59 per barrel on the session, with the US dollar index up $0.609.

CFTF Commitment of Traders data showed managed money cutting 7,806 contracts from their net long position as of Tuesday, taking it to 100,170 contracts.

The Cotlook A index was up 100 points on Friday at 98.20. ICE certified cotton stocks were down 3,164 bales on September 11, with the certified stocks level at 38,462 bales. The Adjusted World Price was back down 441 points on last week to 69.51 cents/lb.

Oct 26 Cotton is at 81.29, down 109 points,

Dec 26 Cotton is at 85.08, down 98 points,

Mar 27 Cotton is at 87.57, down 99 points
