• Count Binface has confirmed that he will run against Reform UK leader Nigel Farage in the Clacton by-election.
• The by-election, which was triggered by Mr Farage’s resignation as an MP on Tuesday over accusations regarding his funding, has been condemned as a “political tantrum” by Foreign Secretary Yvette Cooper.
