A lucky couple got to taste the VIP lifestyle for themselves on a flight back to the UK from Corfu - as they were the only passengers on the plane. Kevin McCuillon, 52, and Samantha, 50, had the Jet2 plane all to themselves for the three-and-a-half-hour flight, even joking with the crew that they “needed more leg room”.
Having flown out with Ryanair for a week-long break last year, they decided to extend their holiday for a few days so booked a new flight back to Manchester but when they arrived at the airport they started to worry as there didn't seem to be any other passengers around., reports the MEN.
Sam, from Wythenshawe, said: “It was unbelievable, obviously Covid was still a thing at the time. I never thought I would travel alone in a plane. When we went to check-in for the flight we thought it was a bit odd that nobody was around, there still weren’t any other passengers at passport control and I started to get a bit panicky.
