A disparate mix of chanting and placard-waving political protesters have brought their grievances to the doorstep of the triennial gathering of the Labor movement.
Delegates were confronted by an array of colour, movement and noise as they arrived at the Labor national conference in Adelaide on Friday, including a giant inflatable green submarine, faux radiation suits and a "choir" of voices raised in musical protest.
