Couhaib Driouech has spoken for the first time on the collapse of his proposed move to Rangers.
Despite the Ibrox club pulling out of the £7million deal due to an injury problem flagged in his medical, the winger has been back in training with PSV.
Rangers felt the injury was going to keep the 24-year-old for several weeks, and were not satisfied to bring in a player who could not make an immediate impact.
The player has now broken his silence and admits the situation "sucks."
Driouech told ESPN: “It was a rollercoaster of emotions, but I am back. I think there was a disagreement between the doctors.
“I had a small tear in my thigh. I think it was made worse because I took a knock to the knee that week, and that turned into a hematoma.
“I feel good and am back on the pitch. I have no influence on what they decided there. I would have considered it a great step.

“It’s a shame, but I’m also happy to be back. You’re basically already there in your head.
“You already see yourself playing in a different kit, but it’s not the first time this has happened to me. It sucks, but that’s just how it is.”
It remains to be seen if another club will come in to try and sign him before the end of the transfer window.
But he insists he will be happy enough if he remains a PSV player.
Driouech added: “I’m just waiting to see what happens. If anything comes up, I’ll deal with it.
“It is still uncertain. I am just happy to be here and I am doing well at PSV. I am also forever grateful to the club. As long as I am here, I am happy to be a PSV player.”
