Silver and gold, silver and gold. The precious metals have an almost hypnotic hold on us as a culture. In interiors, we most often think of metallics in terms of hardware, light fixtures, or maybe the occasional shimmery piece of furniture, but that's all changing. Dua Lipa shared a video featuring her metallic gold accent wall, and it's changed how we see this tricky hue.
The singer's metallic paint technique creates a bold and warm energy in her space, while the sheen gives the room a luxe feel. It reminds us that decorating with gold is accessible, we just need to find the right canvas.
