- Emma Barnett is reportedly set to leave BBC Radio 4 ’s Today programme.
- The 41-year-old presenter is reportedly in talks with the BBC to front a new current affairs podcast, with official confirmation expected in the coming weeks.
- Her reported departure follows the exit of co-host Amol Rajan , who presented his final show on 2 September to launch his own production company.
- If Barnett leaves, her tenure will mark one of the shortest presenter stints in the history of Today, which first broadcast in 1957.
- Her exit would leave just three main presenters on the programme: Anna Foster, Nick Robinson, and Justin Webb.
