Former Celtic hero Charlie Mulgrew believes new signing Camilo Duran is an upgrade on Daizen Maeda.
The Japanese attacker departed for Ipswich Town earlier this summer in a deal that could rise to £10 million with add-ons.
And Mulgrew believes Duran, who's scored three goals in his first four competitive appearances, is better than Maeda.
"What a player," Mulgrew said on Go Radio. "The working back similar to what Maeda used to do. The difference is, Maeda was a bit of a speedboat with no driver at times.
"A lot of the time, he done what he done, but technically, he wasn't the best. Duran looks technically very good.
"The two finishes (against LASK) tell you everything you need to know about him.
"It's goals that Maeda would have snatched at. They'd have maybe went over the bar.
"Duran just looks another level. It's a definite upgrade. It's a great signing."

Duran spoke after his performance against LASK about what's helping him settle into life in Glasgow so seamlessly.
"Since I arrived, the coaches and the other players have helped me in the best way," he explained. "That has helped me to adapt more easily and it’s been reflected in what I have done on the pitch.
"My family, my parents and my wife [Valentina] were here with my daughter [Emily]. I just want to go up and give them a hug now. It has been a truly incredible night.
"My family is already happy here in Glasgow. If they're happy, I'm happy. That's why I'm so happy on the pitch right now."
