Culinary collab / Shang Palace / Aug 21-22

Experience a four-hands dinner at Shang Palace Chinese restaurant at the Shangri-La Bangkok, featuring executive chef Zhen Liu of Hong Kong’s Michelin-starred Yong Fu. With more than 20 years dedicated to the artistry of Ningbo cuisine, chef Zhen joins Shangri-La Bangkok's executive Chinese chef Kwok Ka Wai. Together, the two chefs bring their expertise and individual culinary perspectives to the table, presenting a refined celebration of Ningbo cuisine through a specially curated nine-course set dinner. The experience features signature creations from both chefs, complemented by a curated beverage pairing with each course.

From Switzerland to Bangkok, chef Joël Ellenberger, head chef of the two-Michelin-starred Igniv Bad Ragaz, shares a selection of his signature dishes at Igniv Bangkok at The St. Regis Bangkok. The dishes are available à la carte for lunch and dinner on Aug 25. Showcasing his signature dishes, chef Ellenberger, presents foie gras prepared in three styles that contrast temperatures and textures, each balanced with seasonal Thai plum, a key ingredient of Igniv Bangkok’s Summer Menu whose bright sweet and sour notes cut through the richness of the foie gras.

Bar takeover / The St. Regis Bar Bangkok / Aug 23

"Cocktails, Tapas, and Friends" will host spotlight Malaysia’s cocktail scene through a collaboration of bartenders and contemporary Asian-inspired cuisine. Joining beverage manager Brian Gonzalez are Joel Poon and Yash from Reka Kuala Lumpur, and Koh Yung Shen from Backdoor Bodega Penang at The St. Regis Bar Bangkok on Aug 23. Complementing the drinks, chef Andrew Martin of Funky Lam Kitchen collaborates with executive chef Matteo Fontana and executive pastry chef Nina Sanda Win will create Asian-inspired tapas.

Kitchen takeover / Carito's x Local Canteen x Dibuk House x shhh. / Aug 28-29

Carito's is handing its kitchen and its bar to three of Phuket's most talked-about names for two nights only. On Aug 28-29 August, Local Canteen brings its Southern Thai cooking north to take over Carito's kitchen, while Phuket Town bars Dibuk House and shhh. will run a guest shift with four cocktails built around a Phuket twist.

Wine journey / Texica / Aug 29

Texica will host the “Perfect 20 – Italian Wine Journey” celebrating a major milestone in the company’s history. Texica has become the first Italian wine importer in Thailand to successfully curate and represent wines from all 20 wine regions of Italy. The event aims to provide wine enthusiasts with the opportunity to discover and learn about more than 100 Italian wine labels from across Italy. It will take place on Aug 29 at the Grand Ballroom, Four Seasons Hotel Bangkok at Chao Phraya River. The event will also feature Italian food and iconic Italian lifestyle brands, including Vespa, Smeg and Wilier Triestina, reflecting the essence of the Italian art of living.

Wine night / Courtyard Bangkok Sukhumvit 20 / Aug 28

Courtyard by Marriott Bangkok Sukhumvit 20 will host an evening of wine and authentic Thai craft spirits at Twenty & One on Aug 28. Enjoy 12 Thai street food favourites, featuring Thai-inspired canapés and popular Isan dishes. Recommended highlights include grilled beef brisket, Isan-style grilled chicken, sun-dried pork, fried fermented pork ribs, som tam with salted egg, and spicy pork bone soup. The experience also includes 14 free-flow drinks, featuring red and white wines, sparkling wine, beer, traditional Thai herbal liquor and signature cocktails. Guest bartender Ploy Pairin will add a contemporary touch to the evening with her specially crafted cocktails, while the Ya Dong Station will serve Thai-infused spirits accompanied by mixed fruit pickles. Throughout the evening, guests can enjoy classic Thai movie screenings, 1980s-inspired décor, retro music and a lively atmosphere.

Anniversary celebration / The China House By Chef Fei / Aug 23-25

Mandarin Oriental, Bangkok celebrates the first anniversary of The China House by Chef Fei with the return of Huang "Fei" Jinghui for a limited engagement from Aug 23-25. Created exclusively for the anniversary, chef Fei has designed special lunch and dinner menus showcasing his contemporary interpretation of Chaoshan and Cantonese cuisine. The menus feature signature dishes such as double-boiled duck consommé with aged tangerine peel and fish maw and Wok-fried Phuket lobster with Thai basil and Shacha sauce. The menus will be available until Sept 30.

Mooncake festival / Sindhorn Kempinski Hotel Bangkok / Until Sept 25

Sindhorn Kempinski Hotel Bangkok presents a selection of handcrafted mooncakes, featuring the debut of the Osmanthus blossom with single egg yolk, a signature creation by executive pastry chef Simon Eberhardt. Four traditional mooncake varieties are also available at Berthold Delikatessen until Sept 25. Indulge in Durian with single egg yolk, Lotus seed with single egg yolk, Chinese dates with single egg yolk and Black sesame with single egg yolk.

Akira Back Bangkok at Bangkok Marriott Marquis Queen's Park will host “Caviar & Bubbles” with French Sturia caviar and sparkling wine, including Champagne on Aug 31. Akira Back will reveal a curated five-course set menu featuring the finest ingredients, all crafted to perfection in the restaurant’s highly artistic Japanese-Korean style with international influences.

Wine dinner / Bar.Yard x Stonefish Wines / Aug 27

On Aug 27, Bar.Yard at Kimpton Maa-Lai Bangkok invites guests to raise a glass, take a seat and enjoy an evening of bold flavours and Stonefish Wines, hosted in collaboration with Wine Dee Dee. The five-course dinner curated by chef Julio César Concha Muñoz brings together a Peruvian-inspired menu and five wines from Stonefish Wines, taking guests on a journey from bright and refreshing whites to full-bodied Australian reds. The wines will be presented throughout the evening by Peter Papanikitas, owner of Stonefish Wines, offering guests the chance to discover more about the wines directly from the person behind the label.

Art and style / Tembo Beach Club & Resort / Aug 29-30

Tembo Beach Club & Resort will transform the shores of Bangrak Bay into a hub of creativity as Tembo Art & Style returns for its fourth annual festival on Aug 29–30. The two-day beachfront festival brings together local artists, fashion designers, artisans, makers and creative entrepreneurs for an inspiring celebration of contemporary art, island style and sustainable living. New for 2026 are home design pop-ups, handcrafted wooden furniture and wall art, bespoke kitchen solutions, distinctive UK-designed terraces and premium tiles and mosaics. The popular Trashion Show, where designers transform recycled and discarded materials into spectacular wearable art, also returns with a runway competition offering a B10,000 cash prize for the most original and innovative creation. There will also be a fashion show featuring Tembo's collection alongside island-inspired labels celebrating effortless tropical style and creative design. Another highlight is Trush the Fish, a three-metre sculpture of a fish on the beach in which to place single-use plastic items and other trash.

To mark the 10th anniversary of The Parisian Macao, the resort will host an interstellar journey with Le Petit Prince until Oct 11. Blending classic French romance and whimsical fairy-tale charm, features an immersive installation and a series of limited co-branded products. Le Petit Prince is a story about a young boy who travels across the universe to explore love, friendship and destiny through his pure and curious perspective. Le Petit Prince’s timeless philosophy — “What is essential is invisible to the eye” — becomes the guiding light for an immersive journey that transforms The Parisian Macao into a living storybook of wonder, discovery and an immersive voyage. Whimsical installations spanning across the resort, from “The Secret Rose Garden” at the hotel lobby, extends all the way to “The Love-Lit Way Home” at Eiffel Tower level 7 observation deck. Continuing the whimsical adventure, the Lobby Café presents an exclusively crafted afternoon tea and pastries inspired by Le Petit Prince. Master pastry chef “Bao Bao” and Le Petit Prince have created a limited-edition tote bag celebrating the sweet new chapter. Young visitors are welcome to join the “Interstellar Adventure Programme” and receive a stamp collection passport to follow Le Petit Prince’s trail, collect stamps at all designated stops and redeem a limited-edition “The Parisian Macao 10th Anniversary × Le Petit Prince” tote bag when the journey is complete.

Dusit Hotels and Resorts in Thailand has unveiled its the “Evermore Moon” mooncakes in six flavours. All-time favourites such as Durian with salted egg yolk, Lotus seeds with salted egg yolk and Mixed nuts with salted egg yolk are on offer alongside three new flavours, Jujube, Purple sweet potato and Creamy custard.

Kromo Bangkok, Curio Collection by Hilton, unveils its first-ever mooncake collection centred on Thai flavours. The collection draws upon the works of renowned Bangkok-based collage artist Nakrob Moonmanas. The same artistic narratives are reinterpreted through mooncake packaging and a limited-edition silk scarf featuring Nakrob's original artwork. The collection features four flavours: Durian with salted egg yolk, Lotus seed with salted egg yolk, Coffee with macadamia and Coconut pandan.

Luz Bangkok Tapas Bar at Innside by Meliá Bangkok Sukhumvit has unveiled "Viva La Fiesta: Ladies' Night", a weekly celebration brimming with complimentary free-flow bubbles for ladies, authentic Spanish tapas, lively beats and sweeping views of Bangkok's glittering skyline. Held every Wednesday, the sky-high gathering brings together friends in the spirit of a Spanish fiesta. The complimentary free-flow bubbles are exclusively for ladies between 7-9pm and accompany two delectable menus. Live percussionists and guest DJs spinning Spanish-modern house and tribal beats keep the vibrant atmosphere going well into the evening. The special menu features Huevos rotos con gambas al ajillo y caviar, a Spanish classic presented tableside by Madrid-born Spanish chef de cuisine Juan Ignacio García Racionero, aka chef Nacho. The menu’s cocktails include one litre each of Agua de Valencia, made up of orange juice, cava, vodka and gin, and Sangria.

New car / Honda Super-One / Until Sept 30

Honda Automobile (Thailand) has launched the Honda Super-One, Honda’s fun-to-drive A-Segment EV, produced and imported directly from Japan (CBU), with a limited allocation of 30 units available this year. The model is introduced with a new exterior colour, luminous gray with a black roof (two-tone), paired with a three-tone interior (white/gray/blue) featuring blue stitching. Customers can also choose from Bulldog and Mugen accessories. It offers five driving modes, headlined by the exclusive Boost Mode, simulated gear shift system and active sound control. Sport Bucket Seats alongside 50:50 split-folding rear seats accommodate diverse lifestyles, and the car comes with Honda Sensing. Reservations can be made until Sept 30 and delivery is expected by Dec 31
