Celtic faced LASK in the first leg of their Champions League play-off qualifier.

Starting XI
Viljami Sinisalo - 8
Could do nothing about LASK's disallowed opener after 30 seconds, which was flagged as offside, much to the Finn's relief. A couple of routine saves would follow, with Sinisalo largely untested in the opening half. Made a great save midway through the second half to keep LASK out, after the attacker sat Trusty down. Good showing.
Colby Donovan - 8
Pinged a lovely pass into the path of Camilo Duran, who was unlucky not to score in the early stages. Impressed for large spells, as he took the position left by the injured Alistair Johnston completely in his stride. Shook off a knock in the second half to put in a courageous European effort, though he was eventually taken off for Anthony Ralston.
Cameron Carter-Vickers - 7
A tough start to proceedings for the American, who was to blame for two of LASK's early opportunities. Leggy for both flashpoints, he recovered, forming a strong partnership with his fellow countryman in the heart of defence. A solid performance from the experienced defender.
Auston Trusty - 8
Preferred to Liam Scales alongside Carter-Vickers, the World Cup star was the better of the two centre-backs, as he showed his experience on the European stage at Celtic Park. A towering performance from the USA international, who won header after header to keep the Austrian champions out in his own box. Imperious.
Kieran Tierney - 7
Back after a rest last weekend, Tierney was busy on both sides of the pitch, with the Scotland star bombing forward, as well as providing defensive cover when required. After 75 solid minutes from the academy graduate, he was replaced by Liam Scales. Solid as usual.
Callum McGregor - 8
By far Celtic's most experienced European player, the captain suffered a tough start, as LASK cut through the home side's engine room at will in the opening stages. As the half progressed, however, his influence was felt, as he began to dictate proceedings. A metronomic force in Celtic's midfield trio.
Mika Baur - 7
His first start since signing for the club, the German initially found it tough to adapt to the speed of the game, particularly in the middle of the park. Like his captain, he grew into the match as time went on, showing off his passing prowess on more than one occasion. After an impressive showing, particularly in the second half, Baur was replaced by Reo Hatate. The early signs look good.
Benjamin Nygren - 8
Celtic's in-form player of late, the Swedish international started quietly before coming to life for his side's opener. What a hit from the 25-year-old, who hammered home the ball from just outside the box. His fourth goal in as many games, he would pick up an assist for Duran's second, too. A fruitful evening for Celtic's star man this season.
Camilo Duran - 9
The Colombian tested the LASK keeper with an early shot, before dragging another just wide of the post. His next opportunity would cause the roof to come off at Celtic Park, with Duran's thunderous volley rifling into the back of LASK's net. He would pick up a brace, with another effort from range ending up being Celtic's third on the night. A star showing from arguably his side's best summer signing.
Kasper Hogh - 8
His first European match as a Celtic player, the record signing was quiet in the opening half, though he did track back and get involved with the club's defensive efforts. Though he was feeding off scraps, his hold-up play and winning of fouls were well-appreciated by the home support. Effective.
Yang Hyun-jun - 7
Back in after picking up a knock last week, the South Korean provided pace and running on the wing, despite wasting a couple of decent opportunities to provide balls into the box. Sebastian Tounekti replaced him with 15 minutes remaining, after a good shift from the winger.

Reo Hatate - 4
Was a calm presence in the second half, despite ongoing speculation surrounding his future.
Liam Scales - 3
Provided defensive cover at left-back.
Sebastian Tounekti - 3
Was a threat for the final 15 minutes.
Anthony Ralston - 2
Came on late to shore things up.
