At the start of play on Sunday, the winner of the Husqvarna British Masters was still far from certain.
Daniel Hillier and Marco Penge co-led as play began on the final day at The Belfry, but with the third round still in progress, there was still plenty of golf to play.
Thankfully, the poor weather that had played havoc earlier in the week and led to the delays relented, but it wasn't Hillier or Penge who came out on top, but Joe Dean.
Dean shot a 63 in the final round, then faced a long wait to see if he'd done enough as others finished, before his maiden DP World Tour win was confirmed.
In the end, Dean won comfortably, seeing off four players by three shots, including 2023 champion Hillier, but how much money did he win?
As the opening event of the DP World Tour's Back 9 stage of the season, one of the biggest payouts of the year was available, $3.5m.
That's the same sum as a year ago, when Alex Noren took the title to claim prize money of $595,000. That's the payday Dean will receive for becoming the new champion, although, as ever, he won't get to see all of that money.
It's not just the financial boost Dean benefits from. The Husqvarna British Masters was also the first Ryder Cup qualification event, giving him valuable points towards his chances of competing for Team Europe at Adare Manor a year from now.
Dean also wins 835 Race to Dubai ranking points, a total that sees him leap 61 places to 13th in the standings.
Below is what every player who made the cut won at the British Masters in Euros.
