- Old Oak Common will feature 14 platforms in total, combining six high-speed HS2 platforms with eight surface-level platforms for conventional rail services.
- Engineers expect to install the first overground platform slabs later this year, with construction of the station's roof scheduled to start in 2027.
- HS2 area director Kim Kapur stated that the completed station will be transformative for the local area, creating a major transport hub and a vibrant new neighbourhood.
