Revvity, Inc. (RVTY), headquartered in Waltham, Massachusetts, is a leading provider of health sciences solutions, technologies, and diagnostic services. Companies worth $10 billion or more are generally described as “large-cap stocks,” and RVTY perfectly fits that description, with its market cap exceeding this mark, underscoring its size, influence, and dominance within the diagnostics & research industry. RVTY has a comprehensive life sciences and diagnostics portfolio, including reagents, assay kits and imaging solutions for drug discovery to diagnostics. Innovation in HTRF, LANCE Ultra and DELFIA has positioned it as a leader in multi-omics and biomarker identification. With presence in 160+ countries and about 2,000 sales reps, its global reach ensures diversified revenues and mitigates regional risks while driving superior quality and customer experience.

Despite its notable strength, RVTY shares have slipped 4.2% from their 52-week high of $149.52, achieved on Sep. 17. Over the past three months, RVTY stock has gained 44.7%, outperforming the Dow Jones Industrials Average’s ($DOWI) marginal gains during the same time frame.

Shares of RVTY rose 48.1% on a YTD basis and climbed 66.1% over the past 52 weeks, notably outperforming DOWI’s YTD gains of 7.9% and 12% returns over the last year.

To confirm the bullish trend, RVTY has been trading above its 50-day and 200-day moving averages since early May, with slight fluctuations.

RVTY outperformed on Diagnostics strength and accelerating AI-driven demand in Life Sciences. Diagnostics was led by reproductive health and ex-China immunodiagnostics, with newborn screening resilient despite lower birth rates. Management noted improving pharma and biotech spending and strong orders from AI customers building large datasets. The Opera Phenix OptIQ screener saw strong growth, with orders outpacing capacity and lifting backlog, which should drive future reagent demand. The company exited its China immunodiagnostics business and is reinvesting tariff refunds into capacity and innovation, with guidance raised on better end-markets and AI adoption.

RVTY’s rival, Danaher Corporation (DHR) has lagged behind the stock, with 3.4% losses on a YTD basis and a 16.1% uptick over the past 52 weeks.

Wall Street analysts are reasonably bullish on RVTY’s prospects. The stock has a consensus “Moderate Buy” rating from the 19 analysts covering it. While RVTY currently trades above its mean price target of $128.59, the Street-high price target of $165 suggests a 15.1% upside potential.
