Washington Commanders' head coach, Ron Rivera, made an announcement yesterday that quarterback Jacoby Brissett will be taking the reins as the team's starter in Sunday's highly anticipated game against the San Francisco 49ers. This decision comes after several weeks of speculation and uncertainty surrounding the team's quarterback situation.
Brissett, who joined the Commanders during this year's off-season, has been patiently waiting for his opportunity to showcase his talents on the field. After spending the majority of his career as a backup quarterback, Brissett now has a chance to prove himself as a capable and reliable leader for the Commanders' offense.
