Kym Marsh has opened up about how she struggled to pay for her children's nappies before rising to fame. Before making her name in the pop band Hear'Say, Kym lived in rented accommodation with her two young children.
The 46-year-old revealed how, as a single mum, she found it tough it to scrape money together when her son David, now 27 and Emilie, now 25, were growing up. She shares her kids with former fiancé Dave Cunliffe, who she split from in 1999 – just one year after Emilie was born, the Mirror reports.
"They were well-clothed and fed, although they didn’t have any luxuries," said the former Coronation Street star. "Sometimes it was tricky getting money together for the week.
