THE TRUTH ABOUT: Lamborghini seized by police after speeding reports - Caught on Camera

A Lamborghini Huracan seized by police (Essex Police/PA) - (PA Media)

A Lamborghini which could be worth more than £200,000 has been seized by police after reports of dangerous driving in Essex.

Essex Police had multiple calls on Saturday afternoon reporting that the Huracan was being driven dangerously in Southend, including at speeds suspected to be more than twice the limit.

Officers seized the supercar under Section 59 of the Police Reform Act 2002.

The Lamborghini Huracan has an on-the-road recommended retail price of £238,195, depending on the version, according to Autotrader.

Section 59 of the Police Reform Act 2002 can be used where an officer reasonably believes a car is causing or likely to cause alarm, distress or annoyance to the public.
