THE sale of nicotine pouches and other nicotine products to under-18s has been banned in Scotland under new legislation which comes into force on Thursday.
The new rules, introduced under the Tobacco and Vapes Act 2026, aim to protect children and young people from nicotine addiction by extending existing age restrictions to products including nicotine pouches, strips, pearls and herbal smoking products.
