FORGOTTEN HISTORY: Man dies after getting into difficulty in sea off devon - The Untold Story

A man in his 40s from Surrey has died after getting into difficulty while swimming off the Devon coast on Monday afternoon.
Emergency services were alerted to Blackpool Sands in Strete at 3.30pm following concerns for the swimmer's welfare.
HM Coastguard recovered the man from the water, but he was pronounced dead at the scene despite treatment from paramedics.
Devon and Cornwall Police confirmed that the death is not being treated as suspicious.
A file regarding the incident will be prepared for the coroner.
