Dual international Karmichael Hunt was one of the best fullbacks in the NRL in his pomp and insists Mark Nawaqanitawase would shine in the position at the Sydney Roosters if he returns to the club in 2028.

Roosters' 2026 premiership winner Nawaqanitawase, also a dual international, was a revelation on the wing for the club in a memorable stint during which he scored 47 tries in 47 games.
