Following the destructive fire that swept through Altadena, California, Mayor Steve Crowder extended a helping hand to the town council chairperson. Crowder, who experienced the devastation firsthand in Paradise, California, where 95% of the town was destroyed in the Camp Fire six years ago, understands the challenges that Altadena is facing.
Having lost his own house, business, and cars in the Camp Fire, Crowder reached out to Victoria Knapp to offer support and guidance. He reassured her that there is hope and light at the end of the tunnel, drawing from his own experience of rebuilding Paradise from the ashes.
