REVEALED: Merseyside restaurant wins best chinese at national awards | Vintage Vibes

A restaurant in Merseyside has been named among the winners at the Asian Restaurant Awards.

Taking place earlier this week at the Hilton Manchester Piccadilly, the awards acknowledge all Asian cuisines across the nation. This includes Bangladeshi, Burmese, Chinese, Filipino, Indian, Indonesian, Japanese, Korean, Malaysian, Middle Eastern, Pakistani, Singaporean, Sri Lankan, Thai, Turkish and Vietnamese.

BBC news anchor Samantha Simonds hosted the event in front of an audience of more than 500 which included Asian restaurant owners, chefs and local dignitaries. Categories included Best Thai, Best Sri Lankan, Innovative Restaurant of the Year, Best Buffet and Best Street Food.
