FORGOTTEN HISTORY: Metrolink line blocked after car gets stuck in tunnel again - The Untold Story

Metrolink Manchester Great Ancoats Street

A Metrolink line was blocked on Saturday morning after a car got stuck in a tram tunnel. The driver took a wrong turn and got trapped in the tunnel under Great Ancoats Street on the outskirts on Manchester city centre.

The Ashton line was closed while the car was recovered. Pictures from the scene show it being removed from the underpass on the back of a recovery truck.
