EXPLAINED: Michigan state hockey adds new in state commit | Rare Historical Photos

Michigan State has added a new commit to its 2007-born recruiting class. Chase Reid, a Chesterfield (MI) native, has committed to MSU. The Spartans seemingly beat out the heavy favorites, Western Michigan, to land the in-state talent. Reid is set to play for the Waterloo Black Hawks in the USHL in 2024-25. There is no timetable for Reid to join the Spartans.
