On Tuesday, Micron Technology Inc. (NASDAQ:MU) said that its next generation of high-speed computer memory will launch in 2026. The company's current chips are already fueling Nvidia Corporation's (NASDAQ:NVDA) most advanced artificial intelligence systems.

Micron shares rose 1.09% on Tuesday and added another 0.43% in after-hours trading, according to Benzinga Pro.
