Nicolas Cage is being sued by his ex-wife

Nicolas Cage's lawyer has branded his ex-wife's negligence lawsuit "absurd and frivolous".

The 'Renfield' actor is the subject of legal action from Christina Fulton - who previously claimed she had been "brutally assaulted" by their son Weston while he was in the midst of a "mental health crisis" in April last year - in which she accused her former spouse of ignoring concerns about their offspring's mental health and instead enabling his behaviour ahead of the alleged altercation.
