Michael Beale has revealed Nicolas Raskin may need to wait for his Rangers debut with a work permit yet to arrive for the deadline day recruit.
The Light Blues boss snapped up the midfielder from Standard Liege on a long-term deal as his second January signing of the window after bringing in Todd Cantwell from Norwich City. The latter made his debut at Ibrox last week against St Johnstone and was brought on in last night's 3-0 win over Hearts at Tynecastle.
Fellow newbie Raskin watched on from the stands, and it could be more of the same with a race against time to get the required paperwork in order to put him in the team. Speaking to the media ahead of the weekend clash with the Staggies and looking back at the win under the lights in the capital, Beale said: "The game against Ross County is our focus now. Last night was really pleasing. It was our most complete performance at a really difficult away ground.
