Omicron sufferers are less likely to experience long Covid than those with the Delta strain, according to a new study.
Researchers at King's College London found the odds of experiencing long Covid were between 20% and 50% lower during the Omicron period versus the Delta period, depending on age and time since vaccination.
This comes as public health experts have warned of a potential new wave in Scotland, as cases of two Omicron variants rise.
