Shoppers are being warned to brace for another major spike in grocery prices after the chief executive of Coles revealed a fivefold increase in the number of suppliers requesting price hikes.
Coles boss Steven Cain told The Australian‘s Global Food Forum this week that the supermarket’s suppliers were requesting huge price hikes to cover surging costs driven by a range of local and international factors.
