PlayStation Plus members can now claim four games through October 5. Sony confirmed the September 2026 Monthly Games lineup in its official PlayStation Blog announcement, with Sniper Elite: Resistance, MLB The Show 26, Wobbly Life and Chained Echoes available beginning September 1.
Sniper Elite: Resistance is the month's biggest action-focused addition. The World War II stealth shooter sends players into occupied France and combines long-range sniping with tactical third-person combat. Its campaign can also be played cooperatively, while Axis Invasion and competitive multiplayer return. PlayStation's official Sniper Elite: Resistance page lists the game for both PS5 and PS4.
MLB The Show 26 gives subscribers access to Sony's latest baseball game on PS5. This year's entry expands Road to the Show with the MLB Draft Combine and additional college programs, while Diamond Dynasty adds new card series and a Red Diamond rarity tier. PlayStation Plus members can also claim a limited-time MLB The Show 26 Jump Start Bundle, which includes five The Show Packs, one Equipment Pack and a Jumpstart Choice Pack. Sony says that bundle is available to PlayStation Plus members from September 1 through October 6.
For something lighter, Wobbly Life is a physics-driven open-world sandbox playable solo or with up to three other players in online or local split-screen co-op. Players can take on jobs, complete missions, explore Wobbly Island and experiment with an environment designed around interactive objects and physics. The official PlayStation Store listing for Wobbly Life confirms PS4 and PS5 support.
The lineup is rounded out by Chained Echoes, a single-player RPG inspired by the 16-bit era. Its story follows a group of heroes traveling across Valandis while attempting to end a war between three kingdoms, with combat built around swords, magic and mechanical suits. PlayStation's official Chained Echoes page lists it as a PS4 title that is also playable on PS5 through backward compatibility.
All four games are available to add to a PlayStation Plus library from September 1 through October 5. Sony notes that Monthly Games availability can vary by region, so subscribers should check their local PlayStation Store before claiming them.
Once added during the monthly claim window, the games remain tied to the subscriber's PlayStation Plus library while the applicable membership remains active.
September's selection covers a wide range of genres: tactical shooting with Sniper Elite: Resistance, baseball with MLB The Show 26, cooperative sandbox play with Wobbly Life and retro-inspired role-playing with Chained Echoes. For subscribers, the main deadline is October 5, when this month's four games rotate out of the Monthly Games lineup.
