Powerball players across the United States are competing for the largest lottery prize of 2026 after another drawing failed to produce a jackpot winner.

The August 5 drawing ended without anyone matching all six winning numbers—14, 20, 59, 60, 61, with Powerball 25—allowing the jackpot to grow to an estimated $856 million for Saturday's drawing. Winners who choose the lump-sum payment would receive approximately $372 million before taxes.
