DARK SECRETS: Rangers loan kid sent off after royal rumble starts early - The Real Truth

Rangers kid Adam Devine was sent off on his Queen’s Park debut this afternoon.

Devine, 21, joined the Spiders on-loan ahead of their Scottish Championship away match at Airdrieonians.

And the right back, who was thrown straight into Callum Davidson’s starting XI, was ordered off during a moment that Queen’s Park’s social media team described as “the Royal Rumble has started early clearly.”

It came because both Devine and Davidson reacted furiously to a late penalty snub and surrounded referee Iain Sneddon.

Before being shown a second yellow card deep into second half stoppage time, the highly-rated Rangers starlet had provided an assist for Joshua Scott’s goal and appeared to perform well.

Queen's Park ultimately lost the game 2-1 and remain fifth in the league table, seven points off a play-off position.

Explaining the incident in his post-match interview, Spiders boss Davidson said: "I thought it was a stonewall penalty.

“The boy nearly kung fu kicked Adam in the head when Adam had not even lowered his head for the ball.

"Then, he actually gives a goal kick for it as well so I am a wee bit baffled. Hence my frustration probably boiled over today.

"I think Adam just asked why it was a goal kick - that's all he asked him.

“He [referee] said he was aggressive but Adam is not the aggressive type of person so I am really disappointed with that decision."
