SHOCKING: Rangers star on how they must approach second leg vs jablonec | Mind Blowing Facts

Rangers goalkeeper Ivor Pandur says the team must attack in their UEFA Conference League play-off second leg.

The 26-year-old, who joined Rangers from Hull City in the summer, earned his first clean sheet for the club last week.

Now, Pandur believes Rangers should go all out against Jablonec rather than merely protecting their 1-0 lead from the first leg.

Despite taking five matches to secure a shutout, Pandur has quietly grown into his role over the past month, showcasing a proactive style of goalkeeping.

After an impressive individual season with Hull City, who earned promotion, Pandur is eager to rise to the new challenge with Rangers.

Pandur said: "Yeah, it’s different, but at the end of the day, it’s football.

"It’s just a game of football, and you can only do the best you can.

"Sometimes it’s good, sometimes it’s not as good. The pressure will always be there, and it should be, because this is a massive club.

"Expectation levels should be high. We need to answer those expectations always."

Although Rangers' initial aim was to play in the Europa League, they have to settle for a spot in the UEFA Conference League after being knocked out by Jagellonia.

The Croatian insists that securing Thursday night football is essential.

Pandur said: "It’s a big goal of mine and part of the reason for why I joined Rangers.

"It’s the goal we want to pursue, and we’re all ready for it.

"I can’t wait for tomorrow and to go out and put on a performance that we can all be proud of."

While the match may not hold the same weight as the play-off final at Wembley, Pandur insists that it remains a significant point in his career.

Though Jablonec's Stadion Střelnice, with a capacity of 5,000, is ten times smaller than the 50,000-seater stadium Rangers are used to playing in, Pandur knows it will require the team's best efforts.

He said: "It’s really big, and I think this moment will just bring the best out of everybody.

"We are fighting for something, something big, and we’re all up for it.

"We just need to play our normal way. We’ve come here looking to dominate the game, not to survive. The focus is on that."
