Residents of a home in Macgregor have escaped with minor injuries after a property caught fire early on Monday morning.
ACT Emergency Services were called to reports of a house fire in Archdall Street, Macgregor, just before 5am on September 14.
Three Fire and Rescue pumpers attended the scene, along with an aerial appliance. The Fire and Rescue commander also attended.
Three people inside the house escaped the home with minor injuries and were treated by ACT Ambulance Service paramedics.
ESA report the blaze is in the subfloor of the building, and was still burning as of 7am.
Crews are expected to remain on scene for several hours longer as they work to control the fire.
Archdall Street is currently closed.
The public is asked to avoid the area. If affected by smoke, residents are advised to close doors, windows and remain inside.
