James Tedesco has revealed how he offered to be a mediator between Sam Walker and Sydney Roosters powerbrokers after the breakdown in the halfback's contract talks exploded into the biggest story of the NRL off-season.

Walker is now on the hunt for a new home for 2028 after contract negotiations with the club, where he won a premiership just a month ago, came to a crashing halt.
