NEW DELHI: The Supreme Court Collegium on Tuesday recommended appointment of new chief justices to six high courts, including transfer of Telangana HC CJ Satish Chandra Sharma to Delhi HC which had been without a CJ since March 12.
The Collegium comprising CJI NV Ramana and Justices UU Lalit and A M Khanwilkar also finalised names of five judges of various HCs for appointment as CJs after intense debate for close to two weeks and recommended the Centre to appoint them.
