PATIENTS are being urged to check before travelling to a Glasgow health centre after nearby roadworks caused significant access problems.
Glasgow City Health and Social Care Partnership has warned that ongoing works on Atlas Road are making it difficult to reach North East Adult Services at 28 Adamswell Road.
Anyone due to attend an appointment has been advised to contact the service before setting off.
In a statement, Glasgow City HSCP said: "Roadworks on Atlas Road are causing significant access issues to North East Adult Services, 28 Adamswell Road.
"If you have an appointment at this office, please contact them on 0141 276 4710 before travelling due to ongoing access issues caused by roadworks."
The warning comes after major resurfacing works began on Atlas Road in Springburn.
As previously reported, the road is closed between Flemington Street and Springburn Way until September 25, with diversions in place via Springburn Road, Hawthorn Street and Atlas Road.
The closure is expected to cause delays for motorists and anyone attempting to access nearby facilities.
