'Silent Hill: Townfall'

"Silent Hill: Townfall" is a self-contained psychological horror story set in 1996 on the remote Scottish island of St. Amelia. It is developed by Screen Burn Interactive and co-published by KONAMI and Annapurna Interactive.

The game follows Simon Ordell, who is called back to the isolated island to "put things right" and finds a town covered in heavy fog. As Simon explores, fragments of his past and his connection to St. Amelia begin to emerge.

Simon's journey also involves Richard, the mysterious man who summons him back to the island, and Zoe, a nurse who communicates with him through a strange pocket television called the CRTV.

According to Konami, the story explores themes of mystery, tragedy, and loss as Simon confronts the troubled history beneath St. Amelia.

Release Date and Platforms

"Silent Hill: Townfall" is scheduled for release on September 24, 2026.

It will release for the PlayStation 5 and PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store.

Gameplay

"Silent Hill: Townfall" is a first-person survival-horror game built around exploration, stealth, and tense encounters. According to PlayStation Blog, the CRTV serves as both a survival tool and an important part of the story.

Combat uses both melee and ranged weapons, but fighting is not always the safest option. Players can hide, distract enemies, or sneak past them, while story-driven puzzles require careful observation and interaction with the environment. Konami describes the game as combining tense evasion, frenetic combat, and narrative-driven puzzles.

Editions and Pricing

"Silent Hill: Townfall" will be available in Standard and Deluxe Editions. The Standard Edition costs $49.99, while the digital Deluxe Edition costs $59.99 in the U.S. The Standard Edition includes the full game, while the Deluxe Edition adds a digital artbook, digital soundtrack, and an alternate outfit for Simon.

The Deluxe Edition also includes 48-hour early access when purchased as a pre-order. Pre-ordering the Standard Edition provides the Rusted CRTV Style, while the PS5 version also includes the Beach Edition CRTV Style as a pre-order bonus.
