smallcase Technologies has introduced CASE Platforms as its new corporate identity, bringing its investment products and platform businesses under a single umbrella.
The smallcase platform will continue to operate as a separate brand and business under CASE Platforms.
Founded in 2015, smallcase initially focused on making professionally managed stock portfolios accessible to individual investors. It has since expanded into other asset classes and built technology infrastructure used by more than 250 wealth players and financial institutions.
The company said the smallcase brand is now closely associated with its model portfolios business, while CASE Platforms will represent its broader group of businesses.
The portfolio includes Windmill Capital, which operates in portfolio management; Tickertape, which offers market information and investment tools; creditcase, which focuses on secured credit; and its asset management business, operated through a joint venture with Zerodha.
CASE Platforms said the businesses share a common purpose of helping individual investors access investment products and tools to build long-term financial outcomes.
As part of the restructuring, CASE Platforms will also become a co-sponsor of its mutual fund business, increasing its shareholding in the venture. The fund house will be rebranded as Zerodha CASE Mutual Fund.
Launched in 2023 as a joint venture, the mutual fund business follows a direct-only model and focuses on simple and transparent investment products. It currently manages more than ₹17,500 crore in assets and serves around 12 lakh investors, the company said.
“We started with a simple idea of making investing more accessible. Since then, both the investing ecosystem and our ambitions have grown significantly,” Vasanth Kamath, founder and CEO of CASE Platforms, said.
“We built the smallcase brand for our model portfolios business, and that is where it will continue to belong. CASE Platforms is a new identity and name for the broader group, but our purpose remains the same — helping every Indian design better financial futures,” he added.
CASE Platforms said its ecosystem currently includes smallcase, Windmill Capital, Tickertape, creditcase and Zerodha CASE Mutual Fund. Together, these businesses serve more than 20 million individual investors.
